- The Naples Weight Loss Challenge began in 2006 when two Naples fitness instructors, Livio Ferrari and Mindy Sylvester, joined forces to change the lives and improve the health of nearly 400 participants in the first ever NWLC. The first Challenge went for 8 weeks, with participants losing up to 44 lbs, changing their habits and changing their lives! The 2nd NWLC proved to be even more successful and fun for the participants. Together, Mindy and Livio bring more than 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, carry over 11 certifications and have won various awards for their service and commitment to the fitness industry.
